Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
A query entered into a search feature may be sent to the third-party provider operating that tool. Do not enter a Social Security number, full date of birth, financial-account number, or other sensitive detail unless the provider clearly requires it and you have reviewed its own privacy terms. Montrose County Court Docket does not use a query to build a local court-record profile.
Messages and Contact Submissions
If a visitor communicates with the operator through an available channel, the message, reply address, and details supplied may be retained long enough to address the communication, maintain security, or meet a legal duty. Do not send court filings or confidential case material. Official Montrose County records belong with the court clerk.
Data We Gather Automatically
Routine server and analytics logs may record an internet protocol address, browser and device type, referring page, pages viewed, approximate region, date, time, and error or performance data. These signals help operate the service, measure general use, detect abuse, and diagnose technical faults. They are not used to decide access to an official Colorado court record.
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies, local storage, pixels, or similar tools may remember settings and measure site activity. A browser can block or clear many of these technologies, although some functions may then work differently. Analytics and advertising providers may set their own cookies under their policies.
What We Do With This Data
Information may be used to operate and secure the pages, understand aggregate traffic, improve clarity, respond to communications, enforce terms, prevent fraud, and comply with lawful process. Data may also support advertising measurement where permitted. It is not combined into an official Montrose County docket, and it is not supplied as a consumer report.
No Court-Record Data on File
Montrose County Court Docket does not host or maintain the official District Court, County Court, Water Court, or municipal docket database. Colorado Judicial Branch records are governed by Chief Justice Directive 05-01 and related access rules. Judicial administrative records follow P.A.I.R.R. 2, while the Colorado Open Records Act governs other covered government records. Those laws and rules do not turn this private resource into the custodian of a case file.
For an ROA, pleading, order, judgment, or certified copy, contact the Clerk of Court, Montrose Combined Courts or the municipal clerk that created the record. A third-party search result is separate from the originating court's official file.
Third-Party Search Partners
Sponsored search tools are operated by outside companies. A click, query, account, or purchase on one of those services is handled under that provider's privacy policy and terms. The operator may receive referral compensation, but does not control a partner's collection practices, search coverage, price, or result.
Links to Other Websites
Links lead to Colorado courts, Montrose County offices, municipal pages, statutes, and other outside resources. Once a visitor leaves these pages, the destination's policy applies. A link is provided for reference and does not mean that the destination shares data practices or is endorsed.
Who Might See Your Data
Information may be processed by hosting, security, analytics, advertising, and technical vendors that support operation of the service. It may also be disclosed when required by valid legal process, needed to protect rights or safety, or connected with a lawful transfer of the service. Personal information is not sold as an official court file, docket history, or consumer report.
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used to reduce unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. No network, browser, or storage system can be guaranteed secure. Visitors should limit what they submit and use official clerk channels for confidential or protected case information.
Users Under 18
This resource is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed to children under 18. The operator does not knowingly seek personal information from children. A parent or guardian who believes a child submitted information may use the contact information provided by the site operator to request review.
Your Data Rights
Depending on applicable law and place of residence, a visitor may have rights to ask about, access, correct, delete, or limit certain personal information. Verification may be required before a request is processed, and legal exceptions can apply. These rights concern information held by the private site operator. Requests for a Montrose County court record must go to the court custodian under Colorado court-access rules.
Updates to This Policy
This policy may change when services, vendors, or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top will show the current version. Continued use after an update means the revised policy applies from its stated date.
