Terms of Use

These terms apply to access and use of Montrose County Court Docket. By using the resource, a visitor agrees to treat its content as general reference material, verify important facts with the originating court, and avoid any use prohibited by law or these terms. Effective August 16, 2026.

NO FCRA USE. Montrose County Court Docket is privately operated and has no affiliation with a court or government agency. It is not a consumer reporting agency. Neither the site nor a search partner may be used for credit, employment, tenant screening, insurance, or any other purpose regulated by the Fair Credit Reporting Act.

1. What This Website Is

This is a private reference resource about public docket and record-access routes in Montrose County, Colorado. It identifies courts, clerk channels, calendars, forms, and official sources. It does not operate the Colorado Judicial Branch Docket Search or hold a court's case-management database.

2. Informational Use Only

Content is provided for general information. It is not an official docket, judicial order, legal opinion, or substitute for advice from a licensed Colorado attorney. A reader should confirm a hearing date, deadline, fee, case status, or document with the court that created the record.

3. Rules for Using This Site

Use must be lawful and must not interfere with the service or another person.

  • Do not attempt to bypass security, probe systems, or introduce harmful code
  • Do not scrape, copy, or overload pages through automated access without permission
  • Do not impersonate another person or submit information without authority
  • Do not use content or linked results to harass, threaten, discriminate, or violate privacy
  • Do not use the resource for any FCRA-regulated decision

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

Montrose County Court Docket does not prepare consumer reports and does not verify identities for regulated decisions. Public court information can be incomplete, out of date, restricted, confused with another person, or changed by a later order. Any use involving credit, employment, tenant screening, insurance, or another FCRA purpose is forbidden.

5. No Legal Advice

Descriptions of a docket, hearing, filing, appeal path, or Colorado access rule are not legal advice. The operator cannot interpret an order, calculate a filing deadline, recommend a plea, or advise how the law applies to a particular case. Legal questions should go to a qualified Colorado lawyer.

6. Accuracy Is Not Guaranteed

Reasonable care may be used in preparing content, but no warranty is made that every address, hour, fee, link, court assignment, or process is complete or current. Dockets change, courts reset hearings, and outside pages are revised. The official Montrose Combined Courts file or municipal-court file controls.

7. Third-Party Services and Links

Outside search tools, court sites, county pages, municipal pages, and payment services operate under their own terms. The operator does not control their availability, content, prices, privacy practices, or results. Referral compensation may be received when a visitor uses a sponsored tool.

8. Intellectual Property

Unless another owner is identified, the original text, graphics, branding, and code on this resource are protected by applicable intellectual-property law. Personal, noncommercial reference use is permitted. Republishing, distributing, modifying, or creating derivative materials without permission is prohibited.

9. Limits on Our Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, the operator is not liable for loss caused by reliance on content, a missed or changed hearing, an unavailable service, an inaccurate outside result, data loss, or use of a linked service. A visitor assumes responsibility for confirming all consequential information with the originating court or clerk.

10. Indemnification

A visitor agrees to defend and hold the operator and its service providers harmless from claims, costs, or losses arising from unlawful use, breach of these terms, infringement of another person's rights, or misuse of court information, to the extent Colorado law permits.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Colorado, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Colorado court-record access is addressed by Chief Justice Directive 05-01 and related judicial rules. P.A.I.R.R. 2 governs Judicial Branch administrative records, while the Colorado Open Records Act applies to other covered government records. Those authorities do not make this private site an official custodian.

12. Changes to These Terms

The terms may be revised as services, vendors, or legal requirements change. The effective date identifies the current version. Use after a revision takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
